(Ottawa) The conservative chief Pierre Hairy will present himself in the constituency Albertaine de Battle River-Crowfoot, after a deputy agreed to give him his seat in the south-east of the province.

Following his defeat in Carleton, Ontario, Mr. Hairyvre had no siege to enter the House of Commons and question the Minority Liberal Government of Mark Carney.
“It is with humility and recognition that I accepted Damien Kurek’s offer,” said Mr. Hairy on Friday in a brief message transmitted on X.
“I will endeavor to gain the confidence of the inhabitants of Battle River-Crowfoot and I will continue to ask accounts for the minority liberal government until the next federal elections, during which we will bring a real change for all Canadians,” he added.

It was the Alberta deputy Damien Kurek who announced his intention to resign on Friday to leave the field free to his leader. During the election of last Monday, Mr. Kurek received more than 81 % of the votes in his constituency which he had represented since 2019.
“I know that we need stone in the House of Commons so that he is fighting in order to request accounts from the Liberal minority government. This is the best for Canada, and that’s the best for Battle River-Crowfoot, “Kurek said in a statement released by the party.
The deputy, who will have to be sworn before resigning, says “temporarily renounce” his role.
The inhabitants of Battle River-Crowfoot will be well represented by Pierre until the end of this parliamentary session, and I will continue to work with our incredible local team to do everything I can in order to remain the loud voice for you.

At the morning of press conference in the morning, Prime Minister Mark Carney said that he intended to trigger the by -elections as soon as possible to make the life of Mr. Hairyvre.
“I have already told Mr. Hairy that I will trigger a by -election, if it is the decision of the Conservative Party, as soon as possible,” said Carney.
Pierre Poilievre had been a deputy for Carleton since 2004, but he was defeated by Liberal candidate Bruce Fanjoy last Monday. Mr. Fanjoy was elected with more than 50 % of the vote, against Mr. Hairyvre who lost with 45.8 % of the vote.
