The independent deputy Marie-Claude Nichols intends to return to the Liberal Caucus and at the same time offers her support to Pablo Rodriguez in the race for the party’s chiefdom.

Elected for the first time in Vaudreuil in 2014 under the liberal banner, Marie-Claude Nichols had made her interest in October 2022 for the post of third vice-president of the National Assembly. This position was finally granted to the deputy of Viau, Frantz Benjamin, who was then the favor of the Dominique Anglade head.
