Sexual offender Jérémie Perron, who now identifies himself as Jennifer, will be back before the Conditional Liberations Commission in Canada (CLCC) on Friday. The authorities will have to decide whether the transgender woman, who persists in denying her crime, will remain behind bars or will return to the community to finish serving her sentence of 10 years in prison.
Last January, Perron’s conditional release was revoked by Correctional Canada (SCC) services in the wake of revelations on the faults of the prison system which faces a marked increase in criminals carrying out a gender transition. The individual was therefore arrested and brought back to prison.
Shortly before, the relatives of the victim of Jeremiah Perron had been outraged to learn his change of sex by chance, crossing the offender who changed appearance in Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean.
They are convinced that this is a new subterfuge to hide its crimes. They also criticize the authorities for not having notified them of this transition and for not having sought to find out if his transidentity was sincere. Experts have concluded that there was a real public security issue there.

In February, a few weeks after his arrest, the authorities made the decision to transfer the TRANSGENRE inmate to a prison for men. According to the law, the revocation of a release aims to protect the population when the risk of recidivism of the offender increases or that he does not respect his conditions.
Radio-Canada notably discovered that the Directorate of Youth Protection (DPJ) had to intervene urgently to protect a minor from the delinquent and that the transgender individual was active on the Jalf platform dedicated to fantasies under the pseudonym kinkykitty123.
A woman said she was traumatized and disgusted because she had sex with Perron, thanks to this meeting application, without knowing that it was a predator. Nor was it contacted by the parole agent to ensure that she was safe. Perron had the obligation to disclose any friendly or sexual relationship, regardless of the kind of the person, to his supervisor.
The procedures provide that the conditional liberation committee must carry out an examination within 90 days of the suspension of its release.
Guilty of a sordid crime
Perron is registered for life in the register of sex offenders for the violent and premeditated assault of a teenager from Jonquière in July 2018 when he was masked by a hood and ski glasses. To perpetrate his crime, the attacker also camouflaged his identity by addressing the victim in English.
He stayed in the entourage of the girl he knew well until he was betrayed by a cigarette megot whose DNA corresponded to the sperm found on the victim.
The attacker was found guilty of break -in, forcible confinement and sexual assault causing lesions to a minor as well as the port of a disguise.
