“This giant will be his voice, and that of thousands of others”hopes Father Daniel Allët, one of the founders of House of Compassion. This ASBL is a permanent initiative located in the Saint John Baptist church in Beguinage, with the central object migration. This emblematic Brussels place has imposed itself for years as a refuge and a space for wrestling for undocumented migrants, in particular by hosting long occupations, by denouncing repressive migration policies and by multiplying cultural and symbolic actions.

“Sabine will participate in processions, but also in awareness -raising manifestations and actions”, explains Geneviève Brother, coordinator of the place. His message: “Dignity has no papers.”

Dignity day gathered people “Committed to a fairer world, whether in terms of migration, poverty, ecology or equal opportunities”, Add Geneviève Brother.

The event was also an opportunity to honor concrete fights. The first prize for dignity was awarded to Nezha Alouah, militant for regularization, praised for her field commitment.
