The latest generation of Corvette (C8) has the particularity of having a V8 in the rear central position. This car was the target of a few small Critics concerning its ergonomics. A reworked central console

Instead of the wall of buttons, there is a holding handle which is a screen and allows the passenger to place their smartphone on the induction charger. The redesigned corvette which will arrive in mid-20126 also has a New infotainment screen larger whose contours are finer. Positioned above and more vertically it is now clearly visible by the passenger. Finally, on the left of the digital instrumentation block we find A new screen. This displays different data from the vehicle (engine, oil temperature, etc.). This third screen should be configurable.

Always pimples for the corvette which do not completely give in to the fashion of settings through the central screen. The “switches” located below the screen should be configurable for some by the driver.

That’s not all, since the central console now accommodates two cup holders instead of a storage space with a cover. Below the infotainment screen, there is a whole row of pimplesincluding those of air conditioning and four buttons that could be configurable by the driver. In addition, at the same time that they photographed the interior of a C8 through the passenger glass, they also surprised the new Corvette Zora in its version cabriolet.

By taking up the V8 of 1,064 hp of the Corvette ZR1, the Corvette Zora will also equip a hybrid system (borrowed from the Corvette E-Ray) to get closer and perhaps even exceed 1,200 hp! Here, this is the convertible version.

The convertible Zora finally on the road

The Corvette Zora, named after the famous engineer Zora Arkus-Duntov should be the most edgy of all the corvette produced. Compared to the Corvette ZR1 at the V8 of 1,064 hp, the Zora will have in addition to a hybrid system (borrowed from the Corvette E-Ray) which could give it a hundred additional horses. For the moment, the only prototypes observed were Corvette Zora coupes, the presence of the cabriolet version of the Zora in trial confirms that the Zora will exist in two bodywork.
