A one -way finish
The tone was set in the first minutes. Bruges immediately put pressure on an Anderlecht team which already seemed exceeded by the event. Jutgla almost opened the scoring on a volley after a long touch of Siquet. Cosemans, put under pressure from the start, had no respite.
While the Mauves were looking for a flaw in small spaces, Bruges rolled up: technically superiors, solid defensively, they mastered the transitions and prevented the Mauves from breathing. The minutes passed, and the Brugeois got closer to the goal. Tzolis, untenable, forced Cosemans to illustrate in the 15th minute, before brushing against the opening of the scoring twice.
Hazard was the only one to shake himself. His activity put Jashari in difficulty. The Mauves had a few minutes better, until a too soft strike from Huerta, alone at the penalty spot. In stride, Bruges punished.
Siquet sent a tense center, the purple defense looked at, and Vermant concluded. 1-0, without discussion.
Vermant knocks down Anderlecht
The second period has not changed anything. Bruges, serene, kept possession, whilenderlecht, amorphous, multiplied the bad choices. Dolberg, ghostly, lost ball on balloon, unable to weigh in duels. In defensive retraining, it was nothingness.

Bruges can still dream of the double championship. For Anderlecht, it’s yet another disillusionment: still no trophy after eight years of scarcity. The European ticket obtained via the championship will remain their only meager consolation.
