Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived in Prague on Sunday for a two -day visit to his Czech ally, which has given him unconditional support since the start of the conflict launched by the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavsky welcomed the leader at the airport, which he described as “free world leader”, according to a message published on the social network X.
-Accompanied by his wife Olena, Mr. Zelensky landed in the Czech capital shortly before 10 a.m. GMT, said the CTK news agency.
Already in Prague in 2023, he had to meet President Petr Pavel, a former NATO general in the afternoon, before speaking on Monday with Prime Minister Petr Fiala and other political leaders.
On the menu of discussions are “important questions of cooperation in terms of defense and politics,” a Ukrainian official told AFP, while discussions by Washington to find an outcome to the patina conflict.
Member of the European Union and NATO, the Czech Republic welcomed more than half a million Ukrainian refugees and provided in Kyïv military equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles and helicopters.
The country of 11 million inhabitants also coordinates a European initiative, largely funded by the Atlantic Alliance, aimed at providing a million shells to Ukraine.
