Balloon cuts, indestructible fabrics and 100 % French manufacturing: Arpet reopens in Toulouse with a workwear offer that appeals to craftsmen as well as to city dwellers.
This Friday morning, at 59 rue des Filatiers, the Arpet store reopens its doors in the beating heart of Toulouse, and the first customers are already there. Collateral victim of a fire on February 8, 2023 in the apartment above, this brand specializing in work clothes had to close for two years and three months, only six months after its opening.
“Here, we are on a 100 % made in France work clothing store,” recalls Romaric Madelpuech, the co -manager. A positioning that particularly appeals to craftsmen such as carpenters or carpenters. Mylan, cabinetmaker and first customer of the morning, testifies: “I am a very fan of this brand. Their pants offer extraordinary work comfort. I will also take it for everyday life ”. The ball cup allows great freedom of movement.
Clothes designed to last
If these clothes appeal to professionals in manual professions, they also find their place in daily use. “The cuts are very popular with city dwellers. The idea is to be able to dress everyone, ”confirms Romaric Madelpuech. Available in red, orange, yellow, blue …, the work jackets (the plowman) with clean lines are made in indestructible canvases, just like pants. “For a product made in France, we have an unbeatable value for money: € 130 for pants, € 120 for a jacket,” said the manager. A 10 % discount is also granted to craftsmen. “We offer both retro and timeless pieces, designed to last,” adds Max Dhumerelle, the store manager.
In the same vein, Romaric Madelpuech and his sister had launched a first shop, French featuresin 2019 at 8 rue Jules Chalande. This first shop made it possible to maintain a link with customers during the closure of Arpet. “It was important to remain present because we had already won over a clientele here,” admits Romaric.
