An investigation for voluntary homicide was entrusted to the Cambrai research brigade following a fatal accident on May 1, 2025 around 5 am in the small town of Saint-Vaast-en-Cambrésis.
A driver and her passenger, aged 56 and 50, were placed in police custody after the latter’s wife was found dead, struck by their car. “”The couple formed by the victim and his spouse was in the process of separation“, Confirms Ingrid Görgen, a prosecutor of the Cambrai Republic.
