A multiplex reduced to two games this Sunday afternoon in Ligue 1, but rich in twists and turns. Montpellier moved to Angers, while Le Havre received Rennes. Small overview.
Ten in a row for Montpellier
In Angers, the MHSC, now led by Zoumana Camara, recorded a tenth consecutive defeat in the league. The last of Ligue 1 continues to dive before descending in Ligue 2.. Thanks to a double from Lepaul, the Angevins win 2-0 and relaunch their hope of maintenance. With now 30 points, they are ahead of Le Havre, a barragist, of three units.
Afternoon nightmarish for Le Havre
The HAC, which hoped to recover 16th place left vacant by Reims after the Champagne victory in Lens on Friday, experienced a real sinking at the Océane stadium. Faced with unleashed Rennes, the Le Havres sank from the start: Mutasiwa (1st), Assignon (12th), Kalimuendo (15th), Tamari (57th) and finally Gomez (89th) sealed a brilliant victory for Rennes (1-5). The reduction in the Havre score has not weighed very heavy.
Le Havre is now 17th, two lengths from Reims. For its part, Stade Rennais remains 11th with 35 points.
