“The springs to act of the aggressor very quickly appeared to be deeply personal, the desire to kill someone, whatever the target”, detailed the prosecutor of the Republic of Nîmes on Friday about the murderer of Aboubakar Cissé, murdered in the Mosque de la Grand-Combe.
The murderer of Aboubakar Cissé acted “in an isolated context”, guided by an “obsessive desire to kill” that he had largely shared on social networks, dropping, just before attacking this 22 -year -old Malian, in his mosque, “he is black, I will do it”, according to the prosecution.
Olivier Hadzovic, a 20 -year -old Frenchman, “acted in an isolated context, without ideological demand or link with an organization (…). Nothing allows for the moment to explain why “he enters this mosque” and attacks this specific person, insisted the magistrate, recalling the testimony of a young woman who had reported the online content of the future murderer, where he had expressed, for a year already, “desires of rape of women, murders or rapes of corpse”.
“I’m going to do it today”
Then Cécile Gensac to detail the messages of the murderer the very morning of the facts, Friday April 25, shortly after 9:00 am, on a discussion group on the Discord platform, a group frequented by this young woman. “I’m going to do it today, I’m going to do it on the street.” “Do you know him?” Answers an interlocutor. “No,” he replies. “I’m going to attack the mosque? I don’t have too much idea”. Then, once there, he lets go: “He is black (Editor’s note: evoking his future victim), I will do it”.
Finally, just after the murder, in a video broadcast on Instagram that he filmed in front of his dying victim, to whom he wore 57 stabs in total, he said twice: “I did it (…), your allah shitty”.
The first investigations paint a portrait of a young man born in Béziers, in the department neighboring Hérault, from a Christian family who is not practicing from 11 children, consumer of violent videos, in particular people toar live, said the magistrate.
No terrorist qualification
Two days before the facts, he had expressed, on Discord always, of his intention to take action, and two Internet users had made a report on the Pharos platform. According to one of these two witnesses, the murderer would have described himself as “schizophrenic” in his video just after the facts, where he adds that he must commit “two new facts to become a serial killer”.
“At this stage” therefore, the National Anti -terrorist Prosecutor’s Office (PNAT) did not retain the terrorist qualification, confirmed the prosecutor of Nîmes. But that does not mean “a relativization of the gravity of the facts”, for which perpetuity is incurred, insisted the magistrate, according to whom the PNAT “will remain under observation” on this file.
-Lawyers of the Cissé family had announced earlier to several media their intention to file a complaint with the constitution of civil party so that the investigation is precisely requalified in terrorist assassination.
The victim’s family re -sees by Bruno Retailleau on Monday
The murderer, who went on Sunday evening to a police station near Florence, in Italy, should “subject to all” to be given to France “by the end of next week”, according to Cécile Gensac.
