This Friday, April 25, the 2025 edition of the Saint-Jean-de-Védas open tournament, after 3 weeks of competition, made its verdict in front of a large audience and in ideal weather conditions, a edition which saw a record number of participants, 480 players have indeed faced themselves in the different categories under the leadership of judge David Brunet. After prize list and awards, the evening continued around an aperitif at the end of the tournament and by the draw for the raffle. The culmination of a tournament under the sign of conviviality with a team of volunteers, La Guinguette.
A nice comeback
This April also saw the regional team championship end. Team 1 men achieved a beautiful route and won first place in his hen in the Occitanie 1A division. His 4-2 victory at the last day against Villeneuve-de-la-Raho allows him to go back to the DQDN4 (prenational) division next season. For their part, the 1 ladies team and the 2 men team also make beautiful routes with 2nd place in the Occitanie 1A division respectively and a 3rd place in the Occitanie 1B division. So many events and results that clearly sign the dynamics of the Vedasian Tennis Club.
