22nd tennis tournament: rain, records and pollestres victories

Sunday, April 27, marked the end of the XXIIth Pollestres tennis tournament, an edition once again disturbed by the weather. Little wind this year, but the rain forced to relocate several meetings on short covers in exterior to maintain the calendar. In the absence of time and land available, the 2025 edition took place without a comfortable. Another notable adjustment: the renewal of the refreshment bar and the snack on weekends, always very frequented by participants and spectators.

This edition was also marked by the arrival of new sponsors alongside the loyal partners. A positive dynamic for the tournament, which strengthens its local anchoring and visibility.

Results side

+45 years: Guilhem Belard-Lhère; Ladies: Romane Angrandjean; Gentlemen: Vincent Denoy, player licensed at the Pollestres club, a victory that had not arrived for several years. Note the remarkable performances of Jérôme Lagarde, engaged on two tables with 12 games played for 10 victories, as well as that of Elora Aparicio, youngest participant in the history of the club, with five games played at only 10 years old.

The 2026 tournament promises to be already promising.
