The curtain fell on the second round of the regional beach sports fishing competition (Surf casting) with the coronation of the sports fishing team for young people from the Rif of Al-Hoceima as champion of the North in a class competition, which took place at Safiha beach under the supervision of the Royal Moroccan Fisheries of Sports Fishing at sea, and in cooperation with the RIF sports fishing association.
With a distinguished presence of the champions of the north of the sports fishing, accustomed to participating in the tournament since its creation, the activities of this session began with the draw.
The places were closed to the champions, which immediately started their preparations in order to develop appropriate strategies.
The competition, which took place in a single tour of 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., gave participants the opportunity to compete in skills, techniques and developments in this sport, especially since associations in the North region have an elite group of sports fishing champions with a distinguished level and a wide experience in practice, as evidenced by the results they obtained during the competition of the Throne Cup The Yuki Master international competition held at the Tangier municipal beach at the end of last November.
After a competition between the champions in unfavorable weather conditions due to the strong wind of Sharqi, the result of this round was the success of the association of young people in the Rif by obtaining first place in the second round at the team level, while the second place returned to the association of Friends of the Sea for cane fishing, third place returned to the Amicus Debska association and fourth place cane fishing enthusiasts.
At the individual level, the first place was obtained by the duo Fakri Alwat and Saïd Tamiri of the youth of the Rif for Al Hoceima sporting fishing, second place at the Mohamed Shakoubi and Fouad Boushaibi duo of the same club, third place in the Duo Jawad Ida and Issa Al Hayek of the Association of Friends of the Sea for cane and the development of Cane Rachid Badi and Al Madani al Hanti of the Amicus Debska association of Tangier arrived in fourth place.
After this round, the champions will meet on May 17 during the third round which will take place at the Rmel de Larache beach.
