This weekend, Tarbes becomes the epicenter of the brute force with the stage of the French Strongman championship, organized as part of the Breakfit Fair. On May 3 and 4, at the exhibition center, the most powerful athletes in France will compete in tests combining strength, endurance and mental steel.
This year, the Breakfit Show welcomes a major stage in the French Strongman championship. During these two days, Tarbes will bring together the strongest women and men in France. These competitors will compete in emblematic events such as car lifts, the transport of suitcases of more than 130 kg, the tire turning of 400 kg or the shooting of trucks over several meters. Through all these trials, competitors will have to chain extreme efforts with precision. Each gesture counts, every second weighs heavy and the slightest error can cost victory.
Each of them has their own vision of the tests, and the difficulties of one can be the facilities of the other: “In this sport, we may be big and have big biceps, if we do not have the technique all this is useless” explains Henri Rodolakis, President of the French Federation of Strongman, “nobody has the same vision of this sport.
