The FCMB women’s U18s have taken their neighborhood in Hérault since Thursday when they have been playing the Lespignan international tournament with training from France, Belgium, England, Scotland, Ireland or the Netherlands.
On Friday, during the relaxation day, the Montcelliennes was welcomed in Montpellier to attend a training session of the female pros before a short moment of exchange with the players.
On Saturday, the competition really started. The U18s of the FCMB finished in first place in their hen, they beat a Belgian team 1 to 0 and FC Lyon 4 to 0, draws 0 – 0 against a formation of the Nîmes region and another 0 – 0 against Rodez.
The Montcelliennes will play their semi-final on Sunday.
During their stay, the players are housed at the campsite for sale and the stay alternates the moments at the beach and football.
-A stay that is organized by the FCMB that the girls have financed by raising money since the start of the season.
The goal sought, underlined Nicolas Archae, co-president of the FCMB “is to create memories for this group of 16 players”.
