This Sunday, May 4, 2025, the football club of the Plateau de Bréval Longnes (Yvelines) is organizing an exceptional event. At the heart of this day: Laura Celos, a passionate educator who has become 80% from a quadriplegic following an accident. Its overwhelming and inspiring history today mobilizes a whole club … and far beyond.
A stronger passion than disability
Laura Celos saw her life switch three years ago. Victim of an accident, she is now in a wheelchair. But his passion for football has not weakened. On the contrary. Still present on the edge of the field, it continues to train young players, transmit the values of sport, and inspire a whole territory.
Thanks to her mental strength and the support of her club, Laura remains an essential figure in the FC Plateau de Bréval Longnes. To allow him to continue his commitment in the best conditions, an online kitty was launched. The goal is to help him finance a wheelchair adapted to his professional activity, more handy and more secure for his movements in the field.

A solidarity tournament in the feminine
To support this cause, the club is organizing this Sunday, May 4, 2025 a big day of mobilization around female sport and disability this Sunday, May 4, 2025. On the program:
- Women’s football tournament: U11, U13, U18 and Seniors categories
- Awareness workshops: Cécifoot and Foot with crutches
- Photo exhibitions, raffle, refreshment bar and catering on site

A lesson in courage and resilience
The history of Laura goes beyond the sports framework. She embodies an inspiring journey with resilience, perseverance and love of the game. In a wheelchair, but always on the edge of the field, she shows every day that everything is possible. Thanks to this tournament and collective mobilization, Laura will soon be able to access the land more easily and continue to support local women’s football.
