This Saturday in Newcastle, the Catalan dragons opened the Magic Weekend ball against the Leopards of Leigh. Captain Benjamin Garcia analyzes this defeat and says more about his injury.

Benjamin Garcia, can you give us news compared to your injury?

We will see tonight (Saturday), I hope it is not too serious. I will make a point with the physiotherapists before pronouncing myself.

Are these added?

You have to check with the medical staff but yes, I felt something and I asked to go out (21st).

You were quickly in front of the 12-0 score and you failed by two points. How do you explain this turnaround?

I think we make a very good start by taking the occupation, applying things and marking two trials. But our discipline is still expensive on this meeting. As soon as we mark a test, we make mistakes in a row afterwards and that makes you moan. We catch the balls badly, we make a little stupid mistakes and they come back in the match fairly quickly after first half.

We have seen a lot of frustration over the last 20 minutes at your teammates…

It’s a shame, we wanted to win this meeting. It was important for us, to prepare the semi-final to win to continue building on this. I think we can be very frustrated with our performance because we were so well that it was complicated to see the victory spare us in our hands.

Your first 15 minutes were almost perfect. But they were not enough …

We are 12-0 quickly. I think we made the efforts and that we played well in the ball. After that, it becomes a little more complicated. Our lack of discipline brings them back to the game in the first half. This essay just before half-time hurts too and even if we were still in front of the score, Leigh reassured himself by scoring just before half. We will have to work this week to be ready for the semi-final.

Precisely, you stay on site to prepare the semi-final.

Yes we all stay together in England in Leeds and York to the Cup semi-final next Saturday. We will have more time to prepare for this match and more energy too because we also avoid journeys and I know that it will do us good.
