A season of already successful
The Couronnaises have a great season by finishing third in their hen. But the adventure is not over. They can still get the regional shield this Sunday.
“I’ve been there for a year, but for girls, it’s one of their best seasons. I am not sure that there has already been a purpose like this for those who have been at the club for a while. They are impatient to play the final, especially the old ones,” says Marion Lièvre, coach of the carbacks, in understanding with the crashes of Ruffec. This final is a way to concretize all the efforts.

The Couronnaise and Ruffecois Rugbywomen won their last standoff at home against their Sunday opponents. It was in December (27-5). The Floiracaises will undoubtedly have at heart to take their revenge.
On neutral field in Pons this time, this match promises to fight between two teams who know each other well. “The two teams have evolved, we have the same game a bit so those who win this Sunday will be the girls who will have best prepared the match and the most determined too. Hoping for us,” says Marion Lièvre.

“The girls are courageous, in solidarity with each other and have been self -denial all the season.”
“The girls are courageous, very united with each other and have been self-denial all the season. They also have this mind which is very important and never abandoned,” says COC Jean-Pierre Chiarabini.
Experience and youth, the recipe for success
The objective of the start of the season was not the one they finally reached. With the arrival of a new staff, the desire was more to perform as much as possible by integrating all the girls into the group and taking maximum pleasure.
The Cocquettes team found the perfect mixture between experience and youth, work and pleasure. Marion Lièvre talks about this atmosphere at the beautiful: “We have a lot of young people in the workforce that are very well involved, the old ones who accompany them and the less than 18 which will rise next season. There is a lot of sharing and each brings something thanks to their different life experiences.”
In Cognac, rugby is also combined with feminine
For the past few weeks, a female section has emerged at the USC. A small group, led by alumni from the house, already trains and hopes to grow to engage in the league.
The club president confirms the cohesion created by this group: “Each plays and lives for a passion whatever the age they have.”
The gaze turned to the final on Sunday, Marion Lièvre briefly spoke of the objectives of next season. She “hopes to equal the third place of this year or do better, of course”.

The female categories of the COC rugby are very linked and are generally good results. The emulation was formed as the seasons, training and matches, which leads the first team to a match of a first federal shield.
