Valréas intends to leave with the title of Regional 1 against Digne

After having validated the accession in Federal 3 Sunday, April 27, 2025 against Orange in the semi-finals (22-14), the Red and Black of Valréas have the opportunity to mark a little more the history of the club with a title of champion of Provence of Regional 1 that they will compete against Digne-les-Bains, this Saturday evening in Aix-en-Provence.

Between the first and the second of the regular phase, this final has everything to be a big match on paper. The US Valréas arrives in this final with the confidence of a team ready to defend its rank, and it is not the defeat of the first leg in the league (23-19) which will shake the serenity of the building. Especially since the Vauclusians had found the formula in the return match a few weeks ago to bring down the Dignois in a match crossed like a ghost by the Valréassiens (52-3). So even if Valréas arrives with the favorite costume, the outcome of the final remains difficult to assess.

Jérôme Alaize: “Make the perfect match”

“My players know that they will have to make the perfect match against a revenge team, after having digested the feast of the rise in Federal 3”announces the coach of Valréas Jérôme Alaize.

If lifting a shield is not something known among the enclavists, they believe it hard as iron. A thirst for defeating who testifies to their desire not to be satisfied with the climb.
