The 3L of Rivière-du-Loup collected a defeat of 7 to 4 in front of the Sorel-Tracy spurred man in the 3rd match of this final series of the North American Hockey League, on May 2 at the Cardin Colisée de Sorel-Tracy. The hawks therefore took the lead in this 2 to 1 series, in front of 2,259 supporters.

Charles Tremblay de Sorel-Tracy was the first to open the brand in the first period, thwarting the Cerbère Étienne Montpetit. Gabriel Denis of the 3L level featured the brand by deviating the shot of his teammate Félix Boivin, in front of the net. Jason Lavallée then gave the Lanperivois’ advance by making 2 to 1. Shawn Boudrias brought the two teams to the square one by scoring a net in digital advantage at the last minute of the period.

Jason Imbault gave the advance to the 3L early in the second period. The hawks subsequently dug their advance by scoring three goals without reply, thanks to the contribution of Antoine Waked, Gabryel Paquin-Boudreau and Alexandre Fortin.

During the third period, Shawn Boudrias des Éperviers scored his second goal in the match. Michaël Pellerin of the 3L replied and established the brand at 6 to 4. Antoine Waked de Sorel-Tracy closed this meeting by scoring the last net of the match.

The Lerperivois will however have the chance to recover this evening at the Center Premier Tech in Rivière-du-Loup at 7:30 p.m. This is the first time that the 3L has been reaching the final of the North American Hockey League (LNAH) since spring 2018. The Sorel-Tracy spurred were then sacred champions. The 3L of Rivière-du-Loup won the championship in 2016.
