The battle for El Khannouss bursts, the price revealed

Leicester City won 2-0 against Southampton on Saturday afternoon. Bilal El Khannouss was once again illustrated by delivering a decisive pass to Jamie Vardy in particular. The playmaker can therefore hope to continue playing at the highest level despite the relegation of his club.

The Moroccan playmaker has made the heyday of KRC Genk in recent seasons. In early January, he was even elected “talent of the year” in Jupiler Pro League, when he had been absent for several months. During the summer, El Khannouss materialized his long -awaited transfer and decided to join the Premier League.

Leicester, freshly promoted, was ready to pay more than 20 million euros for the darling child. But the Foxes have had a very disappointing sporting season, with barely five championship victories.

A good season despite the relegation

Consequently, Leicester took a direct return ticket for the Championship. El Khannouss was therefore unable to avoid relegation. But the playmaker has made great progress on a personal level. Especially at the end of the season, when he became one of the key players in the foxes in difficulty. His coach, Ruud Van Nistelrooij, was very positive for the 20 -year -old international.

Its evolution did not go unnoticed elsewhere either. Thus, El Khannouss could make a very interesting new transfer. This weekend, we learned that Arsenal had views of him.

Big blow on the European market

But apparently, other clubs are still on the lookout. According to Cauughtoffside, Aston Villa, Fulham, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton could also retain it in the Premier League.

The German RB Leipzig club would also follow its situation. In Italy, Lazio, Atalanta and Naples are cited as possible destinations. The interested parties will however have to show a lot of ingenuity. El Khannouss should cost between 40 and 45 million euros.
