An artificial intelligence system (AI) integrated into the IA Vedax platform, using Zerochat and Zerophone technology, was deployed by the organizing committee of the United Nations Vesak 2025.
Addressing a journalist from the newspaper Laborer Mr. Dinh Hoang Kien, founder of the company Vedax – the unit deploying the IA platform to serve the United Nations Festival of the 2025, said that the system is integrated on the IA Vedax platform, using Zerochat and Zerophone technology, offering a multichannel experience – including chatbots, reception robots and automatic kiosks.
The culmination of the ceremony was the appearance of 6 intelligent reception robots placed in the central reception areas. By simply pressing the “Start Call” button, users can discuss with the robot to obtain information on the Great Ceremony program, the worship activities of the relics of the Shakyamuni Buddha and the relics of the heart of the Bodhisattva Thich Quang Duke, academic seminars, cultural and artistic programs, parking spaces, toilets, etc.

The robots are designed to converse in six popular languages in countries with a large Buddhist population, in particular: the Vietnamese, the English, the Chinese, the Indian, the Thai and the Sri Lankan. Each robot is like a standard operator, capable of listening and responding in real time in congested environments, managing communication situations with flexibility and precision.

Thanks to the IA chatbot, users can quickly search for information via QR codes placed in the ceremonial area, on the official fans page and on the ceremony website or from published links.
-This chatbot is developed with the ability to converse in 99 languages, serving users around the world. In particular, the “volunteer” of AI Vedax can personalize the level of response depending on the level of the interrogator. For example, for people who discover Buddhism, the system will give a simple explanation, while for people with good basic knowledge, AI will respond more in -depth and consistent.
“We do not let AI respond at random. Not all responses must deviate from the doctrine, but must be simple enough for the listener to understand them fully, “said Mr. Kien.

According to Mr. Kien, the knowledge of this AI system was built and developed under the direction of the venerable Thich Nhat Tu, permanent deputy secretary general of the National Organizing Committee of the United Nations Vesak 2025, with the support of monks, to guarantee that AI is not “disturbed” by false sources of information.
“The exploitation of an AI system in a congested environment will inevitably lead to situations where users will intentionally ask” traps “questions or interrupt the robot when it answers. This is why we design adjustment mechanisms adapted to each environment, guaranteeing fluid experience and precise information, ”explained Mr. Kien.
Reception robots are placed in 5 places in Campus II of the Buddhist Academy of Vietnam at Ho-Chi-Minh-Ville (Municipality of Minh Xuan, Binh Chanh district), in particular: the Minh Chau conference room, the press center serving the Vesak of the United Nations Festival 2025, the art exhibition zone, the Zen tea area and the TRI library zone; Same place in the exhibition zone of the Lang Le (district of Binh Chanh, Ho Chi Minh City).
