A town of a little less than a thousand inhabitants who inaugurate a business is rather common in the Oise. But five at once, that is much rarer. This Saturday, May 3, the Place du Clos des Abeilles de la Neuville-en-Hez, a village between Beauvais and Clermont, was in effervescence. Elected officials and residents were all gathered to celebrate the opening of these five businesses: the restaurant at Laurette, the butcher-chacuterie at Augustin, the florist Madame Fleurs, the Cycles Cycles merchant and the Clos des Abeilles. A beautiful clarity after a real obstacle course, as the mayor Jean-François Dufour recalled.

«Since 2001 that I have been mayor, I always wanted the Neuville-en-Hez to become a living village, appreciated and welcominghe begins during this official inauguration. We have always had several businesses here: a bakery, a butcher, a pharmacy, a post … a few years ago, after having passed in front of this land, I imagined a project that I presented to the municipal team, with several shops. The owner agreed to sell us the land at € 160,000 in 2018. The project was launched.»

Ten jobs created
In total, ten jobs were created. In the meantime, I opened a shop in Clermont. But I always had the Neuville-en-Hez project in mind, I live 400 meters from the store.
