Three weeks after the series of attacks which targeted French prisons and penitentiary staff, the narcotrafic track is confirmed. 21 suspects were heard by investigating judges, at least 13 were indicted.
Several nights, they vandalized prisons and threatened prison agents to their home. To unravel the identity of DDPF group (Defense of the rights of French prisoners), 300 investigators were mobilized over two weeks of investigation. Friday, May 2, 21 suspects were presented to justice. Among them, minors and very young men. All are suspected of being part of the same criminal organization linked to drug trafficking.
“The investigations made it possible to resolutely register these actions in very great organized crime. They highlighted a similar operating mode deployed repeatedly”said the national anti -terrorism prosecutor’s office. According to the investigators, the alleged degradation authors received orders from great incarcerated criminals, in the sponsors, also in prison.
