Just two games are pencilled in for the traditional 3pm time slot in the Premier League on Saturday, so we’ve made a four-legged Multi-Match Bet Builder for the action.
A what? I hear you ask. A Multi-Match Bet Builder! If you want the details, we’ve got ’em for you here.
The already-relegated Leicester and Southampton face off at the King Power, while Everton host Ipswich at Goodison Park.
We’ve got two player tips in here too, both of which are covered by Paddy’s Super Sub offer, meaning if a player is substituted, the pick carries over to his replacement. Let’s get into it.
Saturday’s Premier League betting tips
Leicester v Southampton
Both teams to score, yes
Jamie Vardy to have 2+ shots on target
Everton v Ipswich
Everton -1
Iliman Ndiaye to score anytime
Leicester v Southampton
Both teams to score, yes
It is difficult to sum up just how bad both Leicester and Southampton have been this season, but if you were to combine their points tallies, they would still be seven points adrift of safety.
Saints have been one of the worst teams in Premier League history, if not the worst. They currently share the record for the lowest points in a single season with Derby’s infamous 11-point haul of 2007/08 and need at least one draw in their final four games in order to avoid joining that particularly unwanted piece of history.
Saturday’s trip to Leicester represents by far the best chance to do so.
The hosts have been almost as bad as Southampton, while their home form has been even worse. Ruud Van Nistelrooy’s charges have not scored a league goal at the King Power since a 2-2 draw with Brighton at the beginning of December, a run of nine straight home games without a goal, or without a point.
Southampton have scored in five of their last six Premier League outings, so they will fancy their chances of breaching the Leicester rearguard and finally moving beyond Derby’s long-standing record.
The Foxes, on the other hand, will have confidence of breaking their own long-standing goalless record, considering Southampton have conceded a league-high 80 goals this season, keeping just two clean sheets in the process.
It is more a case of both defences being awful rather than either side possessing any attacking quality, but they should both find the back of the net.
Jamie Vardy to have 2+ shots on target
Saturday will be Jamie Vardy’s penultimate outing at the King Power after one of the most memorable stories in recent memory draws to a close. He will be keen to mark his final games with a goal in what has been a difficult season back in the Premier League.
Vardy has scored seven times in 32 league appearances, making him the highest scorer in Leicester’s sorry campaign. However, he’s not scored a goal in his last 11 appearances and has not scored in a home league game since that December draw against Brighton.
He will be desperate to go out on a high, and this awful Southampton defence offers the perfect opportunity to do so.
Vardy averages 1.6 shots per game, by far the highest average of any Leicester player, and faces a visiting side that has faced a league-high average of 17.8 shots per game.
There is every chance that he lands at least two efforts on target.
Everton v Ipswich
Everton -1 (Handicap Betting)
Before Everton sacked Sean Dyche, this game had all the makings of being a relegation decider. But David Moyes’ return to Goodison Park has inspired Everton to a comfortable end-of-season, while Ipswich’s form has fallen off a cliff.
Kieran McKenna’s side ended 2024 on a high by beating Chelsea 2-0 at Portman Road, but have taken just six points from 15 league games in 2025 to go straight back down to the Championship with a whimper. They have been defensively atrocious, conceding 74 goals and failing to keep a clean sheet in this calendar year.
The Toffees, on the other hand, have seen their form tail off since they all but sealed their Premier League safety. Moyes’ side has won just once in their last nine league games, with a series of draws preventing them from moving towards mid-table.
Ipswich’s visit on Saturday offers an excellent opportunity to claim at least one more win before the end of the season, and they should seize that opportunity with both hands.
Iliman Ndiaye to score anytime
Iliman Ndiaye has enjoyed an excellent season with Everton, scoring ten times in all competitions. His goals have contributed to seven points for Everton this season, and he played a vital role when they were struggling under Dyche.
One of those goals came in a huge 0-2 win at Ipswich when Everton were clearly struggling and seemed destined for another relegation scrap. He is good value to score against Ipswich again on Saturday.
McKenna’s side have conceded 16 times in their last six league games and will give Everton and Ndiaye plenty of chances.
