The individual lying on the side of the national road 85, Tuesday April 29, near the golf course at the Col Bayard, in Gap (Hautes-Alpes), was known to the police and justice services. Anis Ghennam, 40, was to appear once again before the judges of the Gap judicial court on June 12, 2025, implicated in a drug case unveiled in 2018 and 2019.

On November 9, 2018, during a gendarmerie road check in Saint-Firmin-en-Valgaudemar, two vehicles were inspected, driven by two thirty-something from the Lyon region. In one of them, the dog erected in search of narcotic drugs marks in different places on the vehicle.

Insisting, it allows you to discover the sum of 20,600 euros hidden in the spare wheel. Tickets of 20 and 10 euros carefully packaged in around twenty plastic sachets. It will turn out that tickets are imbued with cannabis smell. However, no drug is found. The two companions will be tried and sentenced in June 2024 by the Gap Criminal Court.

Domiciled in Sisteron

On that day, there were four of them appearing. The other two were Anis Ghennam and his father. The son then remained in Sisteron (Alpes-de-Haute-Provence). According to our information, he was rather discreet in the city of Paul Arène. The plastic bag that contained the large sum of money had revealed the DNA of anise Ghennam.

There was therefore a link with the two individuals checked a few months earlier, who had not pipped a word however on the origin of the 20,600 euros. Then, in March 2019, cannabis and 800 g of cocaine were discovered in her home.

A few days later, the police got their hands on almost 80 kg of cannabis, heroin and amphetamines in a box in the Forest district in Gap, rented by his father. The two men were accused of transport, detention, offer or transfer, unauthorized acquisition of narcotic drugs, of illegal use for the son, were placed in pre -trial detention at the GAP remand center.

On June 13, 2024, their appearance at the helm made “Pschitt …” because of a procedural defect. During the detention of Anis Ghennam, telephone listening had been ordered by the investigating judge in the visiting room. Which were canceled. Consequently, all the information gathered by investigators on customers who supplied themselves as drugs, disappeared from the file.

A boon for people placed in police custody then in Digne-les-Bains and Gap. A file that has reduced considerably with the death of the main local link, it seems. Alone, the father should be at the helm on June 12, 2025. But the file being still before the judges of the Court of Cassation, a new postponement is possible.
