Katy Perry is about to have an extraordinary experience by participating in a fully female space flight organized by Blue Origin. This suborbital journey, planned from Texas, will bring together six women, including Jeff Bezos’ fiancée, Lauren Sanchez, as well as several influential personalities from various fields.
The takeoff will take place aboard a fully automated New Shepard rocket for a journey of ten minutes beyond the Kármán line, a recognized border of space. The passengers will have the opportunity to float in weightlessness before returning to earth, braked by a system of retropuls.
For Katy Perry, this adventure has a personal dimension. She said she wanted to inspire her daughter by showing her that nothing is impossible.
