Despite many turbulence behind the scenes, the new Scream 7 is indeed on the move, and continues to stack the ghosts to reassure his fanbase.

An unexpected return for Scream 7
It is on social networks that the brilliant composer Marco Beltrami announced that he would return to the orders of the Scream 7. Twice the Oscars for the Original Strips of 3h10 for Yuma et DeminersMarco Beltrami is aboard the Slasher train Scream Since the first installment in 1996. His partitions, a mixture of creaky strings and massive percussion, have accompanied the saga until Scream IV of Wes Craven, but it had not been recalled for Scream 5 et 6.

The announcement of the return of Marco Beltrami is therefore not trivial: beyond the artistic decision, it is also a highly political gesture, a way of saying to the fans that, despite chaos behind the scenes, Scream 7 will be faithful to the minds of the beginnings. Even if it means bringing out the old recipes, and too bad if the dish smells a little warm.
It should be noted that this return is part of a wider strategy for assumed recycling. Besides Neve Campbell, it is also Patrick Dempsey, survivor of Scream 3which should make his comeback. Scream 7 seems to want to play the Total Revival card, even if it means giving the film Reunion of former students more than real new start.
In addition to these old heads, we will find on the poster of this seventh installment Matthew Lillard, Anna Camp, Mason Gooding, Celeste O’Connor, Scott Foley, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mark Consoleos, McKenna Grace, Joel Mchale, Isabel May, Asa Germann, Sam Rechner and the essential Courtney Cox. The film is planned for an release in French theaters on February 25, 2026.
