5 guards and 4 motorcycles seized during a rodeo this May 1st

They did not make the trip for nothing. These gendarmes had a hollow nose. This Thursday, May 1, the agents of the police expected to come across a motorcycle rodeo in this sector and they were not disappointed with the trip.

In a deserted activity area located in Amblainville, located a few kilometers from Chambly and the border with the Val d’Oise, the gendarmerie of Méru (neighboring town) fell face to face with bikers out of the law, as a brigadier tells our colleagues Parisian.

“It is a place known for rodeos on a motorcycle, it is the subject of exchanges on social networks beyond the town. As soon as the weather is nice, they come back. And as there are lots of possible outings, we have anticipated to intervene effectively.”

Four motorcycles seized during this rodeo

In total, these are five arrests for as many bikers placed in police custody and bikes seized by the gendarmes, helped by municipal police. Prohibited and very dangerous behavior recalls one of them.

“They train to make front, rear wheels, to braking techniques, resumes the field agent. They then reproduce these dangerous behaviors within the neighborhoods, as close as possible to the population, sometimes in the places where pedestrians cross. They also do a lot of damage in the fields of farmers.”
