Record participation in the Meknès orientation forum. A total of 6,500 students, students and parents, to converge on the Al Massira covered room for the first day of the regional orientation and information forum, flagship event inaugurated yesterday, under the aegis of the governor of Meknes, Abdellghani Sebbar, and the director of Aref Fès-Meknès, Fouad Rouadi.
“It is a record influx which testifies to the urgency of lighting the decisive choices of a generation in search of benchmarks,” said the latter. And the director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training to explain the ambition of the forum aimed at “breaking social determinism by offering each high school student, in particular to graduates, the keys to marry a trajectory in line with his talents”. Of the 46 stands deployed, visitors explored a range of possibilities – from public university sectors to military training, including psychometric tests and coaching workshops.
The provincial director of education insisted on the educational revolution in progress: “Orientation is no longer a simple administrative formality, but a tailor-made support that places the student at the heart of a benevolent ecosystem. A vibrant plea for a Moroccan school capable of revealing multiple intelligences, far from traditional shackles.
“Carried by the unwavering support of local authorities and the Moroccan company of guidance advisers, this forum embodies more than an informative approach: a promise. That of seeing 6,500 destinies take a decisive turn to excellence today,” concludes Rouadi.
