In Moissac, a solidarity evening has made room around the idiot dinner. This charity show, for the benefit of the Manel association, reveals the strong commitment of the Lions Club Moissac Doyen.
At the end of April, the city of Moissac, at the Paris hall, place des Récollets, was the scene of an exceptional evening, marked by the representation of the famous play “Le dinner de Cons”, organized by the Lions Club Moissac Doyen. The event met with great success, bringing together a large audience from number to combine entertainment and solidarity commitment. The room was packed and the electric atmosphere. The weather seemed to have suspended himself as the spectacle was captivating: a memorable evening where bursts of laughter and generosity were intertwined. All the benefits of the evening were fully donated to the Manel association, actively working against feminicides. An evening of laughter and solidarity that will remain engraved in Moissagaise memories for a long time. This strong gesture shows once again from the humanitarian vocation of the Lions Club, faithful to its motto “Serve”. Recall that this international organization, which today has more than 1.3 million members around the world, is a non -profit association engaged on a daily basis for multiple social causes.
The year 2025 promises to be particularly dynamic for the Lions Club Moissac Doyen, with several events already scheduled: Sunday May 18 (Loto at Espace Confluence of Moissac), Saturday June 28 (hike and bicycle in partnership with the Lions Club de Castelsarrasin), Sunday November 30 (children’s Christmas lotto), at the end of December (Christmas market in Moissac). The success of this evening demonstrates, once again, the capacity of the Moissagais associative fabric to federate around values of solidarity, culture and civic engagement.
