While he was walking on the quays of the Seine, in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, around Île Saint-Louis, Jamel Debbouze “was attracted to a small crowd around a fisherman attempting a large fish on the phone: a huge catfish”, reports The Parisian. The fisherman is Bill François, biophysicist, naturalist and writer. He was capturing the river giant for the purposes of a scientific study. According to it, the beast measures “at least 2m10”.

He promised to baptize the catfish by the name of Jamel if he does not already have a name: “We will be able to know how much he grew up compared to last year. It is a fish that I am, and in general we give them names. This one, if he has no name yet, he will have your name ”. Jamel publishes the images on his Instagram account. The video has become viral.
