This Friday, May 2, “Here” publishes photos of the 76 -year -old actor on the shooting of the next film directed by the actress of “Strongly Sunday”. On March 27, the prosecutor requested against the actor eighteen months suspended prison sentence, a fine of 20,000 euros, compensation for civil parties, an obligation of psychological care and registration in the file of sexual offenses. The film shot on the island of São Miguel, the largest island in Azores
In an interview with “Madame Figaro” last December, Fanny Ardant had mentioned this sixth film which she shoots as a director and whose title she borrowed from a verse from Pushkin.
The article only indicated that the drama would speak of “a woman who has lost her memory”. The production does not appear neither on the site of the artistic agency of Fanny Ardant, nor on that of the agency of Depardieu, but there are some details of this mysterious project on the Internet.
On March 17, Facts Azores, a website on Azores tourism, published a post on Facebook. Under a photo of Gérard Depardieu visibly in full reading session with a dozen collaborators, he indicates that the film by Fanny Ardant, which would currently be funded by Portuguese companies, will be fully shot on the island of São Miguel (the largest island of Azores) between April 14 and May 24.
In addition to Gérard Depardieu, the casting is entirely made up of Portuguese actors (Ricardo Pereira, Paulo Pires, twin -in -law, Ana Padrao, Victoria Guerra, Anabela Moreira…).
The site says that the drama “explores the themes of love, memory and redemption” on a “mystical island”: “The scenario follows two women whose destinies intersect unexpectedly. Lost and in conflict, they confront their present and past, questioning the value of life and what really deserves to be saved. ”
Fanny Ardant defended her friend Depardieu during his trial
During the trial of the French actor, Fanny Ardant had come to defend his friend at length at the helm. “I will broaden the debate,” the star started on March 26. During his trial, he recognized rudeness, but defended himself from any abuse. He denounced a case “instrumentalized by the media”.
