Already awarded and glowing criticism.

The quartet has conquered many criticisms: “Of an obvious stage presence even before the attack on the score, the Elmire provides the feeling of kneading a living material …” from the outset … “

A perpetual quest for expression

“In a perpetual quest for expression, it impresses with its generous, free, fully assumed and unreserved sound … familiar with the great repertoire, it finds its identity by immersion in this heritage, we measure the perfect understanding of musicians in the incarnation of this singular music”. (Tuning fork). Elmire has already occurred in large rooms: Philharmonie de Paris, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Philharmonie du Luxembourg, barn at Lake Evian. In 2024 he made his debut on the Alt Opeer stage in Frankfurt and participated in the crazy day in Nantes. Surrounded by the advice of Modigliani, Ysaÿe, Belcea and Boune, the Elmire Quartet is a resident quartet at the Singer-Polignac Foundation, at the Reine Elisabeth Musical Chapel, Grand Resident Pro Quartet, Spedidam generation artist as well as winner of the Banque Populaire Foundation.

An ambitious program

The proposed program brings together parts imposed during the first round or the semi-final of the competition. First, two romantic masterpieces: the Quartettsatz in the minor of Schubert, the beginning of an unfinished quartet due to a long crisis of anxiety, is a unique score where each note makes a tragic universe. Composed in enthusiasm in fifteen days, the ambitious and daring 3rd Schumann quartet is a tribute to the Viennese classics but also to the last quartets of Beethoven, the Reveré master. Finally, Bartok Quartet No. 2, created in 1918, which is revolutionizing the genre.
A program with many emotions by a young quartet full of promises to whom we wish a great victory.
