For several weeks, the musicians gathered at a bihebdomedary rate to prepare for the first Fanfare Class’ internship which took place last weekend. At the initiative of the harmony Battery Fanfare, in order to revitalize the Lézatois music, this project was set up to carry out an internship of a day and a half, with musicians of all levels and different horizons.
During this internship, Jean-Philippe Vié, musician and initiator of many recognized groups such as Macadam Farmer Rockbox, supported by Nicolas Coulon, regular rockbox and jazz drummer, for the percussion desk, directed the rehearsals of the different songs. These were then offered during an end-of-internship concert, with the participation of the Leza’Croche Choir choir, which had invited choristers from Ausonne, under the direction of Manuela Monjouste. The Music Society office found it difficult to believe, but what a success!
The village hall was far too small to welcome all the people who came to applaud them. An unexpected triumph. The president, Adrien Thacker, was amazed to see that the music lovers had responded.
Forty-eight trainee musicians took part in this concert. The Lézatois musicians were surrounded by musicians who also came from Haute-Garonne to share this great adventure. The evening started with the songs of the choir followed in the second half of the evening of the orchestra, with music where the singers and even the public sang songs, notably “Take me”, “Santiano”. It was an extraordinary evening, moreover the spectators were not mistaken in making an ovation to the musicians as well as to the choir. In conclusion: a conquered audience, a packed room and an unforgettable concert, this is the summary of the evening.
