McA Ugo Coussaud really flew over the French professional championship 2025 MCA houses which was played in Cabot Bordeaux (ex golf of Medoc) from May 1 to 3 by being the only one to bring three cards under par.
A beautiful legacy achievement for Ugo Coussaud, 58th in the breed before the event, namely the best classification of the contenders present in Cabot Bordeaux in early May, and who will therefore have held his rank by succeeding Julien Guerrier, who did not defend his title acquired last year. Pro since 2010 and resident of the DP World Tour since 2023, he was born in Angoulème in 1992. His strengths: Driving and Bunkers. Ugo Coussaud will be Thursday May 8 at the start of the Turkish Airlines Open on the DPW Tour.
The prize money, that the initiator of the Renaissance of this championship Bernard Pascassio (Kalika Conseil) wanted more than significant for this event (of the order of a good level challenge ”), was € 250,000 in total. It is thus distributed among the first places:
- 1st: Ugo Coussaud: € 36,000 (bigger career gain since his victory in India in 2023)
- 2ème : Oihan Guillamoundeguy : 24 000 €
- T3: Tom Vaillant (winner 2023), Clément Charmasson, Paul Margolis: € 13,500
- T6: Andoni etchenique, Gary Stal: 9 500 €
- T8: Julien Quesne, Victor Veyret, Valentin Pignet, David Ravetto: € 6,625
The French professional championship, reactivated by Bernard Pascassio in 2022 after ten years of interruption with the support of MCA houses, has been played intermittently since 1911. The winner wins the Jean Garaialde trophy, multiple winner of the event between 1968 and 1985 (excuse the little).
