• The UN “condemns” the Israeli strike in Damascus

• Humanitarian operations “by the collapse”
Humanitarian operations in the Gaza Strip are “On the verge of total collapse”warned the International Committee of the Red Cross on Friday May 2, after two months of total blockade of any assistance entry by Israel.
“If the rescue routing does not immediately resume, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will not have the food, drugs and basic necessities it needs to pursue many of the programs it leads to Gaza”underlines the ICRC in a press release.
• Missiles drawn from Yemen
The Israeli army announced Friday noon preparing to intercept a new missile from Yemen, the second in less than 12 hours, and a detonation that can correspond to an interception was heard a few minutes later in the distance, from Jerusalem.
The Israeli armed forces had announced earlier in the morning of intercepted a missile launched from Yemen, a shot claimed by the Houthist rebels supported by Iran.

• Israeli strikes on the presidential palace district in Damascus
The Israeli army has announced that it has bombed the presidential palace district in Damascus at dawn, after having threatened the Syrian government with reprisals if it did not protect the Druze minority.
“Combat planes have struck the surroundings of the palace”wrote the Israeli army on Telegram. “It is a clear message sent to the Syrian regime. We will not allow forces (Syrian) to be dispatched south of Damascus or threaten any way the Druze community “said in a statement, published in English by the newspaper Times of Israel, Prime Minister Benyamin Netanyahu and his Minister of Defense Israel Katz.
