This Friday was the 3rd stage of the Romandie Tourwith a hilly profile which could suggest an undecided scenario. In the end, the teams of the main leaders managed the race perfectly, and the stage was played in the final coast, too hard for sprinters. Released in the red flame, it’s the Australian Jay Vine (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) which won, two seconds ahead of French Lenny Martinez (Bahrain Victorious) and his teammate João Almeida (UAE Team Emirates-XRG). For his part, the Belgian Remco Evenepoel (Sudal Quick-Step) had trouble in the final sprint but still finished in 7th place.
