He had experienced a renewal with a journey revisited last year and made his return this year this year “In continuity”say the organizers of the Alestésian club bicycle. The 2025 edition of the cycling race that the mining circuit will be held on Sunday May 4.
As a reminder, the runners will start from the Mechanical Pole of Alès (this is a fictitious departure) to take the direction of Saint-Julien-les-Rosiers, where the real departure will be given at the exit of the town. All will then go towards the north of the Gard, to the Magi, before branching off in the Auzonnet valley, to Saint-Florent-sur-auzonnet. Then, the participants will cross the Col des Brosses, before going to the Cèze valley, to arrive at the foot of the Trélis pass, climb it and descend towards the Martinet. Then, return to Saint-Florent-sur-Auzonnet, with a view to a second loop Col des Broouses-Col de Trélis. And during the new passage to the Martinet, they will go to the Affnadou, the Pradel and the Côte de Mercoirol, before crossing Saint-Martin-de-Valgalgues and returning to the mechanical pole, where the arrival will be.
The first departure will be given at 2 p.m.
Here is the program for this day of May 4. Registrations will be taken from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. The runners will be called at 1:45 p.m. at 2 p.m., the departure of the first group is scheduled (categories 1, 2, 3 and juniors). At 2:05 p.m. will follow the departure of the second group (categories 4, 5 and women). At 5 p.m., obviously at the end of the arrival of the runners, the awards ceremony will take place. It should be noted that a Grand Prix of the mountain will be played at the top of each difficulty.
