Thierry Ardisson dropped the mask this Thursday, May 1 at the microphone of France Inter. Coming to present his book “The man in black”, the emblematic host collapsed in tears against Léa Salamé and Nicolas Demorand, upset by the memories mentioned in his intimate story.
“When I was born, my mother was 19 years old, she didn’t know how to take care of me,” he said in a trembling voice. Raised by his grandmother, Thierry Ardisson returns to a childhood he describes as painful and marked by a deep feeling of gap: “I did not understand what I was fucked up in this family. I thought there had been an error in maternity. ”
In his work, the 76 -year -old animator says he has long worn “shame of this shame”. And if he recognizes that his father transmitted to him a taste for cinema, radio and press, he nevertheless hides the injuries left by this shattered youth.
It was by mentioning the book “interior night” of Nicolas Demorand that the emotion took over. “It’s because of Demorand that. I read his book and he exploded me, ”says Ardisson, eyes fogged. The work, in which the journalist confides in his bipolarity, has deeply resonated in him.
Léa Salamé, witness of this suspended moment, could not help sliping a word of humor to lighten the atmosphere: “I have two guys who chip before me, it was not planned.”
