The head of the PCV will make state visits to Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan, an official visit to Russia where he will attend a ceremony marking 80^e Anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War, then a state visit to Belarus.

Lê Thu Thu Hang said these visits are of particular importance, because they follow the celebrations of the 50^e Anniversary of the Southern Liberation and National Reunification, and is part of a context where the country enters a new era, that of the development, development and prosperity of the nation.

They aim to intensify the global strategic partnership with Russia, as well as traditional friendship and multifaceted cooperation with Belarus, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.

For Russia, according to the Deputy Minister, this is the first official visit to Russia since the election of the Tô Lâm leader to the post of secretary general of the central committee of the PCV. It is part of a particularly significant context, while the two countries celebrate the 75^e Anniversary of their diplomatic relations and each celebrate their own important historical stages.

This visit aims to strengthen political confidence, to identify new orientations to bring traditional friendship and global strategic partnership with Russia to a higher level, as well as to consolidate the collaboration between the PCV and the main Russian political parties.

In addition, the official visit of the secretary general Tô Lâm and his participation in the ceremony marking 80^e Anniversary of the victory of the Great Patriotic War testify to the respect and honor of Vietnam for the considerable contributions and sacrifices made by the former Soviet Union and current Russia in the great victory against fascism and for the maintenance of solid world peace, said Lê Thu Thu Hang.

For Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Belarus, she continued, these are the first state visits to the leader of the PCV in these countries. These visits aim not only to consolidate and strengthen political confidence, but also to express the determination of Vietnam to constantly consolidate its traditional friendship with the countries of the former Soviet Union.

These visits will also contribute to promoting cooperation between the PCV and the main political parties of the three countries, while strengthening interpersonal exchanges and affirming the constant positive feelings of the Vietnamese people towards the peoples of Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan and Belarus.

According to the official, these visits will constitute the most radiant evidence of the sincerity and fidelity of the party, the government and the Vietnamese people towards these countries, aimed at establishing more sustainable, more effective, more substantial and more mutually beneficial relations, up to the potential of cooperation, political confidence and the aspirations of Vietnamese peoples and these nations.

In the coming days, the Secretary General Tô Lâm will have important meetings with the senior leaders of these countries to shape relationships in the coming times, thus creating a new momentum for cooperation in various fields, in particular new and potential fields such as economics, trade, investment, fundamental, energy, high technology and artificial intelligence (IA).

Lê Thu Thu Hang said he was convinced that these visits will be a great success, leaving memorable impressions in the hearts of Russian friends, Kazakhstani, Azerbaijani and Belarusses and the international community, while continuing to disseminate and strengthen the image of a faithful and affectionate Vietnam towards his traditional friends, and fully responsible for the international community. These trips will create larger motor forces to bring the country into a new era and achieve the development objectives set, thus actively contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and in the world.

Regarding the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the Vice-Minister said that this triumph had been a great source of encouragement and motivation, as well as an important prerequisite for the Vietnamese people, under the direction of the PCV and President Ho Chi Minh, stands and launches a general uprising to take power.

The August 1945 revolution broke out in a context of “ripe opportunity”: the collapse of the fascist system, in particular the capitulation of Japan in the face of the Soviet Union and the Allies, and the end of the war in Europe. On September 2, 1945, on the historic place Ba Dinh, President Ho Chi Minh read the declaration of independence proclaiming the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, today the socialist Republic of Vietnam, announcing an era of freedom, national independence and socialism for the country.

In addition, in this struggle, Vietnamese voluntary soldiers participated directly in the Battle for the defense of Moscow in 1941. Many Vietnamese soldiers sacrificed their lives on heroic Soviet earth.

The victory of the Red Army of the Soviet Union and the progressive and pacifist forces around the world has created a bright monument of heroism for humanity, which will be forever honored, because it constitutes the solid foundation on which a developed and sustainable world is based today.
