Chalon-Harnes 1-3 worn by an oven and mill stepnov, Chalon first stood up to Harnes (11-12). But the Chalonnais gradually shy away with six faults in service in the first set and a stammering/defense sector which allows the harnesses to take the lead (11-15). The passage from Levasseur to the service is good (20-22), but that is not enough and Harnes concludes (21-25).
Five points behind
Led at home, Clément Sattler’s men react quickly after a first timid set. The pointed Argentinian Romanutti comes out of his box and Captain Chauvin is heroic in defense (9-5). Lemeur guides the reception of a master of master and the visitors (19-10). Who try a revolt, but their seventh lack of the service will be fatal (25-21).
In the third set, the Centrals Chalonnais, Dos Santos and Manuohalalo, in turn illustrated in the block and fixed (8-7). Harnes makes many errors in the service but holds thanks to his pointed Queva (12-11). Stepnov makes the powder speak and Chalon leads in the money-time (22-20). Before undergoing a 4-0 which turns out to be fatal (22-24 then 23-25). Guided by his block, Harnes takes the lead, 2-1.
-The northerners run in the lead in the following set (6-9), Manuohalalo and Lemeur ring the revolt for the VBCC (13-12). But Harnes is intractable in the center and gets six balls of matches … all saved by heroic Chalonnais.
Unfortunately, the seventh turns out to be the right and Harnes, Coleader, puts the VBC Chalon five points from first place. “I’m very frustrated tonight because it is not played with much,” comments Clément Sattler. We were too fluctuating by going from a second set where nothing can happen to us in a set where we are too feverish. Now we have four matches left, but we no longer have our destiny in hand. »»
