Qualified for the MSL semi-finals, the Tourangeaux recognized that they had not played the best match of their season this Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Nice (2-3). But they still enjoyed having assured the essentials, when on the Nice side, coach Brice Donat was delighted to end the season with the honors.
Marcelo Fronckowiaks (interraneur from Tours) : “We did the essentials. Despite everything, we missed a lot of individual challenges. Everyone must take responsibility. We must all, including me, we answer present at a given moment, that we ask ourselves the right questions. Of course, we qualify in three games and we must not be too greedy. But it’s not just the cuff, the pass, the service, there is also the attitude. »»

Zeljko Coric (captain of Tours): “We knew it was going to be hot, it was planned, and I want to congratulate the Nice team. It was a good challenge for us because it’s the kind of match that still awaits us. During the third and fourth set, it was really difficult, they were everywhere in defense, in block. But we managed to qualify for these semi-finals. »»
Ryan Sclater (pointed to Tours): “We did not play at our highest level, but we stayed together to get the victory at the end. Play-offs are always difficult and to win, everyone has to contribute. We now have twelve days of rest, we must seize the opportunity to improve certain things. »»
Antoine Pothron (receptionist-attacker from Tours): “We don’t make a very good game. I play very badly. But in the end we get out of it, because we remain solid on hot moments. So we are very happy with this victory because we had to win, no matter the scoring. We did it, now we’re going to rest a little and focus on the rest. »»
