Marcelo Fronckowiaks (interraneur from Tours) : “We had mentioned the ability of this team to play well, and they made a good match. They deserve victory because we have always run behind. I think we put too much pressure on ourselves. At the service, we faced sacred bombs, in all directions and everyone. We missed a little aggressiveness. There is a big frustration because we missed an opportunity, when we could be celebrating a qualification in the final. Now, we must bring together all our strengths, be clever enough to recover well physically, and in the head. Because we lose this tie-break on details that are difficult to swallow… ”

Loïc Le Marrec (Montpellier coach): “We knew it was not going to be easy given the level they played to go. I told myself that if they were redoing the identical match, it wouldn’t go. They played very well, but not over time. We played better than with us and that is what makes it balanced. I am satisfied because guys have shown that they were able to reverse a situation. We are still in the race to get this place in the final. But there must not be too much euphoria, joy, because we only equalize. We are not qualified. After as we often say between us: you can lose, but you cannot have any regrets. We are in any case very happy to have this match 3 to offer to our city and the public that follows us. »»

Luca Ramon (Libero de Tours): “It’s very frustrating, especially at home. We expected a Montpellier reaction, we had it. We fought the whole match, apart from this third set where we take a dose. On arrival, it is played out on details on the end of the match. We used a lot of energy to come back, before cracking in the final. It is a Play-Offs semi-final, it is played out. Now you have to forget all that, you will have to be able to quickly switch in your head to approach match 3. It can do everything. »»

Alexandre Strehlau (receptionist-attacker from Tours): “Montpellier played super well. I would say they may have been a little more constant than us. So there is disappointment. But there, right away, you just have to think about Monday, we have already managed to beat them at home and there is no reason that we are not able to do it again. »»

Nicolas The Goff (Montpellier Central): “We were back to the wall so we thought we had nothing to lose, that we had to let go of the horses tonight, regardless of the result behind. You shouldn’t have regrets. Casually, even if we were in an elimination match, we played with less pressure than with us. I think that’s what made the difference. »»
