This season, the reality play, the traitors makes us go through the whole range of emotions, while the game of candidates still in the adventure is more sharp than ever.
From this number is Audrey Morissette, who did her television weapons last year, self-proclaiming “ La Vilaine de Survivor Québec ». It must be said that she does not mince words towards the other competitors of the game, while the faithful must reveal in broad daylight the true identity of the traitors
Her style of play well is, however, the target of several criticisms and remarks. In response to an article in the press published this morning, Audrey decided to speak on social networks, denouncing a double standard against women. She declares, weighing each of her words:
« By describing myself as “barking” or “exasperating”, while recognizing that I am a central and captivating character, there is a persistent bias: women who take up space are often perceived as excessive or annoying, while similar behaviors in men are more often valued and seen as leadership, insurance and strategy. Besides, Mike’s expression which calls me “little general of the Bécosses” is revealing. It is both mocking and reducing. We tolerate female power only if it is defused by ridicule, or brought back to something “small”, harmless. »
Then she specifies:
« The reality? I don’t take up too much space, I take the place that we don’t always dare to leave for women. And that’s why we look at me, that we talk about it and that we will remember it. »
By responding to her detractors, Audrey echoes a phenomenon to say the least deplorable, which we unfortunately also witness on TV. Strongly the day when women and men are perceived there equal.
