This Thursday morning, calm returned to rue des Filatiers, in Toulouse. The day before, in the middle of the afternoon, the Carmelite district experienced a little moment of fear. Access to the building is also prohibited after the municipal service report “building threatening ruin (IMR)”.
Work to be carried out within seven days

Among the measures imposed under seven days are the safety of the pillar and the damaged vault, but also a strengthening of the wooden structures of the day well and the stabilization of the balcony on the eastern facade. A complete inspection of the restaurant evacuation networks is required within fifteen days.
The owners also have the obligation to relocate the tenants at their expense and to inform the town hall of the solutions put in place. Otherwise, the municipality could carry out office work, at the expense of the owners.
