The Golden State Warriors and the Houston Rockets meet at the Toyota Center for this long -awaited decisive match 7 in the Western Conference.

After taking a comfortable advance of 3-1, the dubs lost two consecutive games and are now under pressure on Sunday evening. The Rockets dominated the Warriors in match 6 and forced the holding of a decisive match thanks to a 115-107 victory.

The last two games have highlighted the offensive limits of the Warriors, whose game rests a lot on Curry, Green and Butler. The trio combined a shot at 19 out of 46 in total, including one 8 out of 26 to three points. During match 5, Steve Kerr had chosen not to use them in the fourth quarter to avoid fatigue, but that was not enough for the next match.

In their history in playoffs, the Warriors display a balance sheet of 3 victories and 2 defeats in matches 7. Note that their last three attempts were all ended in successes.

For their part, the Rockets have a gold opportunity to enhance their season. Qualified for the playoffs for the first time since 2020, they finished second in the Western Conference. Turning this series after being led 3-1 would be a real epic. Out of six attempts, Houston won match 7 just twice. The two teams had already faced each other in a match 7 in the 2018 conference final, won by the Warriors.
