Triple murder in Sweden: two new arrests for complicity

A young man and a man in his twenties were arrested for complicity in murder in the investigation into the shooting that killed three people on Tuesday in Sweden, the prosecutor in charge of the investigation announced on Saturday. Six people in total are therefore in police custody, no decision having yet been made on their placement in pre -trial detention, said prosecutor Andreas Nyberg in a press release.

The prosecution announced on Friday the arrest of four men, one suspected of murder and the other three of incentive to the murder.

Three young people aged 15 to 20 were killed late Tuesday afternoon in a hairdressing salon in the university city of Uppsala, located about sixty kilometers north of Stockholm, arousing amazement. According to Swedish media, at least one of the victims had links with organized crime, which the police have not confirmed.

A 16 -year -old arrested a few hours after the shooting was released and is no longer suspected in this investigation. The two new people arrested for complicity are considered “reasonable suspects“, that is to say at the lowest level of suspicion according to Swedish justice.

Sweden has been trying to stem a wave of shootings and attacks with the artisanal explosive carried out by rival gangs for several years, especially for control of drug trafficking.
