The murderer of Alexia is tried again, but this time only in civilian, for slanderous denunciation against his in-laws. He was released at first instance.
Jonathann Daval again – and for the last time? – Before justice. This Friday, April 11, the one who is currently serving a sentence of 25 years’ imprisonment for the murder of his wife, Alexia, will be tried in Besançon by the Correctional Call Chamber, ruling on civil interests, for slanderous denunciation against his in-laws. At first instance, in the spring of 2024, he had been released by the Besançon Criminal Court.
Back on the previous episodes. On October 28, 2017, Alexia Fouillot, married Daval, disappeared in Haute-Saône. Her husband, Jonathann, assures that she did not come back from her morning jogging. On October 30, the body of the young banker was found calcined in a wood. The case takes on an incredible magnitude and keeps the French in suspense.
